Grenoble Alpes Isère airport

Specializing in the ski market and linked to the Rhône-Alpes highway network, Grenoble Airport provides quick access to the largest ski areas in the Alps and the economic hub of the Grenoble area.

As part of the environmental policy initiated by VINCI Airports in 2016, Grenoble Alpes Isère Airport is pursuing its environmental commitments with :
- Obtaining ISO 14001 certification in 2019, renewed in 2022.
- Preserving biodiversity by signing a partnership with the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) in 2020 thanks to a diversified fauna in the heart of the airport, and the implementation of a biodiversity zone (beehives, compost, insect house)
- Obtaining the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) level 3 label at the end of 2022. Obtaining ACA 3 is part of the gradual decarbonization of the airport's activities and rewards several optimizations:
• Reducing electricity consumption by installing LED lighting in the airport's aircraft parking lot, terminals, and passenger parking lots, and better management of overall lighting, such as turning off the passenger parking lots at night.
• Expansion of the electric vehicle fleet to include ramp and operating vehicles.
• Replacement of the chiller system with the latest generation of energy-efficient equipment.
