Air China and China Eastern Airlines open new direct lines between London Gatwick and Shanghai
This winter, London Gatwick is offering new seats to Shanghai with 11 weekly flights now available from Gatwick to the Chinese megalopolis, operated by Air China and China Eastern Airlines.

Gatwick will now be offering more passenger seats to Shanghai than ever before, as the airport plays an important role in serving the high demand of mobility for Chinese passengers.
A new service, operated by Air China will start on November 2nd, and will fly 4 times weekly from Gatwick. In addition, China Eastern Airlines is increasing its direct flights from Gatwick to Shanghai, from three times weekly to daily services this winter. This news follows the UK Department for Transport’s forecast that China is expected to be the world’s largest aviation market by 2022.
These new flights will thus allow to further stimulate the entire tourist chain, as part of VINCI Airports’ network development policy aimed at irrigating and developing territories by bringing communities closer.
