The dialogue commission confirms the relevance of the future Grand Ouest airport
The dialogue commission, established in late November by France’s Prime Minister, confirms the relevance of the future Grand Ouest airport, which will replace the current Nantes Atlantique airport. The three reports issued Tuesday, April 9 to the government and the prefect of the Pays-de-la-Loire region, requires several modifications to the initial project.
After four months of work, the findings reflect the climate of dialogue and transparency established in these exchanges, consistent with the commitment of VINCI Airports, the future airport concession operator responsible for the transfer, for full consultation with all stakeholders.
On the basis of these conclusions and recommendations made by the commission, the public authority, together with the local communities and other stakeholders involved in the transfer, will communicate the roadmap for the next implementation steps in the coming weeks.
This roadmap will include a detailed study of the reports of the three commissions (dialogue, agricultural and scientific expertise), together with the services of the public authority.
