Belfast International airport

Belfast International airport is Northern Ireland’s principal airport and the second largest gateway on the island of Ireland. With over 6.2 million passengers using the facility in 2019 travelling to over 70 domestic and international destinations. Customer airlines include easyJet, Jet2.com, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Virgin Atlantic, Thomas Cook and TUI. Belfast International Airport is the second largest employment site in Northern Ireland (5000 employees) with over 200 businesses operating on the site. Its cargo village facilitates round the clock imports and exports to keep NI connected to Great Britain and further afield for its economic and social needs. The platform handles 70% of Northern Ireland’s air travel and has four car parks on site with space for approximately 7000 vehicles.

In 2023, Belfast International Airport was the first airport in Northern Ireland to obtain ISO 14001 certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS).
