Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport

Thanks to its strategic location between lake and mountains, Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc Airport offers a privileged gateway to the largest ski resorts in the Alps. In 2019, 204,000 passengers passed through the hub via direct scheduled routes to the UK, as well as ski charter flights operated by tour operators, and its dedicated business aviation terminal. In 2022, despite a season impacted by travel restrictions between France and the UK, the airport welcomed 107,400 passengers. Due to this proximity to the resorts, Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc Airport is positioned as the 3rd largest airport in terms of business aviation traffic in France in winter.

In 2016, the airport underwent major renovation work on its two terminals to improve passenger comfort, followed in 2019 by work to expand and bring the infrastructure into compliance in anticipation of the restoration of formalities and border controls linked to the Brexit.

In line with VINCI Airports' environmental policy, the works also improved the airport's environmental performance by installing LED lighting and water savers. Chambéry Airport also obtained ISO 14001 certification in 2019, which it renewed in 2022. That same year, the Savoy hub obtained Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Level 3 certification. Obtaining ACA 3 underlines the efforts made by the hub to decarbonize its activities as well as the actions taken to involve all of its stakeholders.
