Member of the VINCI Airports network since 2011 and leading airport in the Greater West, Nantes Atlantique Airport welcomes some 20 scheduled airlines and offers nearly 90 direct destinations, as well as connections to the main international hubs, to satisfy the mobility needs of the region's inhabitants and businesses. In 10 years, Nantes Atlantique has welcomed twice as many destinations (France, Europe, the Mediterranean basin, but also Canada, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean), and twice as many tourists, which has had a positive impact on the local economy. The airport is also served by twice as many airlines, which promotes the connectivity of the region and the democratization of air transport, and has gone from one to four companies based there, benefiting local jobs. 2020 was marked by the renovation of the baggage sorting facility with the construction of a building built with the help of local companies. 400 parking spaces were also created using modular structures. In 2022, the airport was awarded the S3A label for its efforts to welcome physically and mentally disabled people. Nantes Atlantique has also obtained the international ISO 9001 certification standard for its quality management. Certified in 2022 as "level 3" of the ACA (Airport Carbon Accreditation) and ISO 14001, Nantes Atlantique airport is developing within its territory by committing itself to reducing the environmental impact of its activity with the aim of achieving "zero net emissions" by 2030.
