Puerto Plata Airport

Located 14km from Puerto Plata South-East, the airport is the gateway to the island’s second largest tourist destination. The increasing traffic is sustained by the growth of the German, Canadian, Russian and Trinidad and Tobago markets and the second frequency of JetBlue during the summer.

In 2023, Puerto Plata airport was named the best airport in its region (ACI’s “ASQ Best airport by size and region” award). The same year, the Government of the Dominican Republic granted VINCI Airports a 30-year extension of its current concession contract, originally scheduled for 2030.
