Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport: VINCI Airports is deploying new services and shops to improve the experience of its passengers this summer
With the busy passenger traffic expected this summer at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport (more than 2 million), new services and shops are being deployed to facilitate and enrich passengers’ travel.
In addition to the shops and restaurants already available at the terminals, travellers will benefit from 5 new points of sale that will open this summer at the airport, providing them with a pleasant and comfortable experience.
A new dedicated route will also make it easier for families to travel along. Throughout their journey, they will be able to benefit from facilities and services such as an easy access to security controls, exchange points for babies, self-service strollers, dedicated play areas in waiting areas and other services.
Finally, a new Market Place, available on the store.lyonaeroports.com website, as well as physical terminals, placed in the baggage delivery rooms, will make it possible to centralize the various services of Aéroports de Lyon (car parks, queue cutters, lounges...) and those of its partners (Rhônexpress, Ouibus, Flixbus...) in order to facilitate passenger travel planning.
These initiatives illustrate VINCI Airports' strategy to continuously improve the passenger experience at the 46 airports of its global network. This is a major asset for the airport, which has also enabled it to be voted best European airport in the 10-25 million passenger category by the ACI, the European airports association.
