In Lyon, VINCI Airports and Lyon Aéroport collaborate with the 15th edition of the Contemporary Art Biennale
By partnering with the 15th edition of the Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art, one of the five largest in the world, VINCI Airports and Lyon Aéroport are helping to promote local initiatives and reaffirm their commitment to the key players in the region's national and international influence and to contemporary creation.
From September 18, 2019 to January 5, 2020, on the Place des Lumières, in the heart of Terminal 1, passengers will be able to enjoy a unique experience, a "Walk on the Clouds". VINCI Airports, in association with the Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art, is offering a unique experience: discover the work of the artist Abraham Poincheval, sponsored by VINCI Airports and Lyon airport, echoing its installation at the Biennale's Usines Fagor site. Through this journey of unpublished images, the artist explores the immensity of an endless sky by walking on clouds at an altitude of several tens of meters and takes the traveler on a completely different journey. An exhibition of photographs by artists from the biennale is also on display in the terminals and the TGV station.
