Opening of a new route between Kansai (Japan) and Sydney (Australia)
Qantas Airways, the largest Australian airline company, will launch three direct flights per week between Kansai and Sydney from December 14, 2017. This is the first non-stop flight to make a round trip between Kansai and Sydney since the airport’s opening and the first time in 10 years Qantas Airways will fly to Kansai airport.
With this flight, Kansai International Airport will be the first airport in the world to welcome all of five Qantas airline companies including Qantas Airways and Jetstar brand airlines that belong to the Qantas Group.
This operation reflects travel booms between Japan and Australia and highlights VINCI Airports’ commitment to expand its aviation network to provide enjoyable travel experiences to customers.
