Thanks to London Gatwick airport, three SMEs are taking off internationally
Thanks to the International Trade Fairs’ competition, organized by London Gatwick airport in partnership with the Department for International Trade, three companies from the South-East of England based in Crawley, Horley and Croydon will soon be participating in major trade fairs in Las Vegas, Shanghai and Amsterdam.
Winners will benefit from information on business opportunities and a series of one-on-one meetings with international trade advisors from the Department.
This competition, which aims to help SMEs develop internationally, highlights the positive impact of airport mobility on economic development. According to a study, companies located in the "Gatwick Diamond" region have more than 50% chance of being able to export internationally.

Kikka Digga - based in Sussex, Kikka Digga offers a new system to make gardening easier. The company will attend the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas.
United Minibuses and Coaches Limited - an award-winning company based in Horley offering Uber-type instant pricing and booking technology for bus and coach travels. The company will participate in the Technology Entrepreneurship show in Shanghai.
Shaking Hands - a business partnership born in Croydon reinventing business-to-business networking. Shaking Hands' online platform brings together local events, companies and local news. A networking that allows companies to develop their connections and better share their expertise. Shaking Hands will participate in the GreenTech show in Amsterdam.
