VINCI Airports announces the arrival at Toulon Hyères of three new routes operated by Transavia as of Spring 2021

VINCI Airports and Transavia announce the implementation of three new routes linking Toulon Hyères airport in France to Paris-Orly, Nantes-Atlantique, also a member of the VINCI Airports network, and Brest-Bretagne. A positive announcement for the region's connectivity.

Starting this Spring, the airport located in the South East of France will now be connected three times a week to Paris-Orly airport and twice a week to Nantes-Atlantique and Brest-Bretagne airports.

Nicolas Notebaert, Chairman of VINCI Airports, stated: "The establishment of routes to Orly, Nantes and Brest by Transavia will enable the airport to continue to meet the mobility needs of the people of the Var and of companies, and to welcome tourists to this exceptional region. At VINCI Airports, we are convinced of the need to open up the region, particularly to rebuild the economy and employment, and we are working alongside airlines such as Transavia to achieve this".

In order to guarantee the protection of both passengers and employees, VINCI Airports has introduced health measures in all the airports of its network: hydro-alcoholic gel available at many distribution points, enhanced cleaning and disinfection of areas and equipment, the presence of hygiaphones at the various counters, and a system of floor markings allowing physical separation in the queues.

Laurence Erbs, Director of Toulon-Hyères Airport, adds: "Despite the situation linked to the health crisis, we are now demonstrating our resilience. The arrival of Transavia at Toulon Hyères is a fine example of this! We are pleased to welcome this high-quality company. These three destinations, eagerly awaited by all, mark a real turning point for the development of the airport ".

Nathalie Stubler, CEO of Transavia France, is also delighted with this announcement: "We are delighted to be able to offer attractive new offers from Toulon. We will work closely with the airport and local partners to make these lines a success. We look forward to celebrating the first Transavia flight from Toulon on 28th March."
