VINCI Airports continues to digitalise the customer journey
Lyon Airport, a VINCI Airports Innovation Centre of Excellence, is launching a new "Smart Welcome" solution to offer a "phygital" welcome to passengers in the terminals.
Via a digital platform, accessible through QR codes located in the terminals, passengers now have access to a wide range of information and services from their smartphone, as well as physical assistance if they wish. This solution allows passengers to find answers to their questions via content that adapts to their location, or to contact a ground agent who will come to meet them if necessary.
Tests will be carried out over the next few months to enhance the functionalities of this solution: for example, directing passengers to points of interest such as shops and lounges, or proposing commercial offers. Developments on the reservation and ordering of products and services within the airport, in partnership with the brands present, are also planned for the second half of the year.
