Belfast International Airport

Belfast International airport is Northern Ireland’s principal airport and the second largest gateway on the island of Ireland. In 2024, Belfast International Airport achieved its busiest year ever, welcoming a record-breaking 6.757 million passengers.
Thanks to two additional based aircraft from airline partners easyJet and Jet2.com and Jet2holidays alongside Ryanair’s largest-ever programme, as well as TUI and our Tour Operators programmes, the airport offers a diverse network of 70+ destinations, delivering positive mobility for all passengers.
In 2024, the airport unveiled its new Security Hall, equipped with Gen 3 X-ray technology, enhancing efficiency and streamlining passenger journeys. This marks the first step in the £100 million, five-year investment plan of VINCI Airports to transform the airport experience.
On the environmental side, the airport reached Level 3 ‘Optimisation’ in the Airport Carbon Accreditation scheme, showcasing its commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the 26 MWp solar farm project is on his way with SunMind set to generate 22.4 GWh of electricity annually, significantly reducing CO2 emissions.
